It has the greatest humor and wil make you crack up on a regular base.
Plus the author seemed reluctant to kill off characters initially (Eg: Arabasta saga). The story is pretty simple : Bad guy appears-> Angers Luffy -> It looks like luffy is loosing -> Bam ! what do you know: he doesnt (You know with the few exceptions)/ or he comes back stronger. And the basic plot of One Piece does not allow much room for twist and turns in the story. On top of all this, it looks like it has been discontinued (partially?).Īnd One Piece - There was a lot of hype around it when i started watching it, but it did not live upto my expectations. Every time it looked like the story was going back to the main plot a new filler saga would start. It is one complete story and hope fully it will keep on going strong.īleach was good, but the fillers in the anime kind off bumbed me. The characters are highly developed and the twists in the plot are also good. The number of people who like One Piece is too damn High.
Oh, but it was nothing compared to when Ace I mean, like, how much more tragic can a past get? And how much more awesome could Luffy get? I, like, bawled my eyes out in that arc. Honestly, it starts off a bit slow, but once you get past Nami's arc, you just cant stop watchin anymore. I've watched a lot of amazing animes, like Fullmetal Alchemist, Code Geass (probably have to say this comes in second, after OP), Prince of Tennis (ah, Fuji <3 *gushes like a fangirl*), Katekyo Hitman Reborn (Byakuran was just awesome, liked him the second I saw him, but maybe that was simply because his name is a lot like Byakuya's? LOL), and more, but OP still has my heart. However, I've watched, like, 40 different anime series since I first started OP, and IMO, its still the best. Like honestly, there's a limit to how special a MC can get without being crazy. However, I'll always remember how much I loved it, especially Byakuya and Gin :"(īut really now, how crazy can Ichigo get? He's like Shinigami X human X arrancar (?maybe? I havent watched in so long I forgot) X other crazy stuff. I was a former Bleach fan, but at that time, I had only watched 2 animes (including Bleach), and as I began watchin more series, Bleach's amazingness faded away for me. And chasing after Sasuke like that? He's not even worth it. Or maybe not, but he was just soooo annoying. However, after a bit, Naruto started getting stupid, like really? Such a goody-two-shoes. I have to say, though, Naruto was the first anime I've watched, and it still has a fond place in my heart (or at least the episodes until the end of the chunnin exams do, with the exception of a few, like Pein and Sasori), since it was the one that got me hooked on anime. *warning: super long review-ish kinda thing to back up OP's awesomeness/epicness. One Piece is way beyond the level of Naruto and Bleach.
