ShipConstructor 2015 contains a significant augmentation that will immediately be of benefit-the addition and enhancement of many new catalogs.
The data designed in the external hull production model flows freely into the Structure product. Hull provides powerful features such as surface-surface intersection, surface trimming, plate expansion, structural section definition, shell expansion, shell stringer definition, offset book printing, and pin jig drawing generation. This update uses a new database version (1.4.5.30) since R4.2 and therefore you must update your databases. This update can only be applied to ShipConstructor 2008 R3 or later. 1200 level lock licenses are the same licenses required for R4.0.1. Do not download this release until you have contacted your local sales representative to update your locks. The 1200 level lock licenses should NOT be confused with Universal Licensing. ShipConstructor 2008 R4.3.1 requires 1200 level lock licenses. This update also contains a fixed SQL update script from R3.1 to R4 allowing users who have not updated to R4 yet to avoid this problem when they update their databases. Any reference to R4.1.4 in this KB article can also be applied to R4.3.1.
